Board of directors calendar
All regular school board meetings are held virtually and at the Lewisville Campus in room C-26, 406 NW 5th Ave., Battle Ground, WA. Most months, meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays starting at 6 p.m. Special meetings and work sessions may be held at different times.

Before- and after-school care
Right At School, a nationally recognized school enrichment provider, provides before- and after-school care for students in kindergarten through eighth grades. Care also is available during breaks, non-school days and summer. Learn more.
2024-25 school year calendar approved
The 2024-25 academic calendar is now available for next school year. The board of directors approved the calendar at its Jan. 22 meeting. Here are some of the key dates:
- First day of school: Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024
- Kindergarten begins (Smart Start): Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024
- Thanksgiving break: Nov. 27-29, 2024
- Winter break: Dec. 23, 2024, through Jan. 3, 2025
- Spring break: Monday, March 31, 2025 through Friday, April 4, 2025
- Last day of school: Tuesday, June 10, 2025 (assuming no added days for weather-related closures)
NOTE: Additional in-service dates may be added following approval from the state superintendent’s office. Russian and Spanish-language versions will be released soon.
