The Diary of Anne Frank Poster jpegBattle Ground High School Drama presents ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’

Battle Ground High School Drama presents “The Diary of Anne Frank” beginning Nov. 8. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, this important and thought-provoking production captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear, their hope, their laughter, and their grief.

In this powerful new theatrical adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, Anne Frank emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination.

Performances will be from Nov. 8-10 and 15-17. All performances will begin at 7 p.m. in The Lair at Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St. Tickets are $5 for students and senior citizens, and $7 for the general public. Employees of Battle Ground Public Schools who show their employee badge are admitted free of charge. Tickets are available for purchase online at wa-battleground.intouchreceipting.com or at the door on the day of the show.
