Register to get school supplies at school readiness day

Families who qualify for free or reduced meals are invited to register for School Readiness Day, where students will receive basic school supplies and can get free immunizations. The event will be held 4-6 p.m. on Friday, August 26 at Battle Ground High School.

- North County Community Food Bank: 17 NE 3rd Ave., 9-11:15 a.m. and 1:30-3:15 p.m. Monday-Thursday or 9-11:15 a.m. on Friday. For more information call 687-5007.
- Adventist Community Services: 11117 NE 189th St. (at the rear of the Center Point Building), 1-5:30 p.m. Tuesday or 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday. For more information call 687-3459.
Also during the event, all children ages 2 months to 18 years can get free immunizations by appointment with SeaMar Community Health Center. To schedule an appointment for immunizations, please call (360) 342-8052 and speak with a nurse.
