  • Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test

    This spring, students in grades 10-12 will have the opportunity to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB. Scores are used to determine if someone is qualified to enlist in the military and to assign someone to an appropriate job in the military. Scores above 31 also will fulfill Graduation Pathway requirements.

    • Registration begins Friday, March 29, and ends Friday, April 26. Space will be limited to the first 40 students registered. Register here: ASVAB registration Google form
    • Testing date: Saturday, April 27 
    • Who can test: Battle Ground Public Schools students in grades 10-12
    • Test type: Computer
    • Arrival time: 8:40 a.m.
    • Start time:  9 a.m.
    • End time: 12 noon (approximate) 
    • Place: Battle Ground High School (300 W. Main St., Battle Ground, WA) in the College/Career Center room E45 (front of school)
    • Cost: Free
    • Accommodations: This particular test day does not provide for accommodations.

I appreciate the variety of subjects that are available at BGHS. I think it is good for students to try out many different types of classes while in high school, so they can try and figure out what will interest them.
