Levy-funded maintenance projects preserve assets at Battle Ground schools
Maintenance crews worked hard over the summer making improvements and scheduled maintenance repairs at Battle Ground Public Schools all throughout the district. Below is a list of some of the more notable projects that were completed this summer, which are largely funded thanks to levy dollars:
Amboy Middle School
- Repair floor cracks in the student wing (happening this month
- Repaint the exterior
Battle Ground High School
- Replace turf and track surfacing at district stadium
- Repair and preserve asphalt/concrete areas
- Bought an upgraded kiln that can be safely used inside for the ceramics department
- Replace 6 restroom floors
- Refurbished and painted floors and walls in the main gym
CASEE Campus
- New HVAC system at CASEE C (home of the Tech Services department)
Laurin Middle School
- Restroom additions and renovations
Lewisville Campus
- Repair Nutrition Services roof
- Repair A Building roof
Maple Grove K-8/River HomeLink
- Repair and replace sidewalks
- Replace flooring in the cafeteria
- Revise outdoor air vents in modular building
- Replace hallway flooring
Pleasant Valley Primary and Middle Schools
- Widened the entry for 3 turn lanes in the parking lot
Prairie High School
- Installed a scoreboard at the turf field
- Replaced the bleachers in the 2 small gyms
