Lunches served during stay at home order and more

Hello families of Battle Ground Public Schools,

We want to let you know that lunch and breakfast sacks will be distributed this week during the governor’s stay at home order. This is an essential service that we are providing to our community. The district will not provide meals next week during spring break, March 30-April 3; however, this Friday students will be able to pick up an extra lunch and breakfast.

Meals are distributed weekdays between 11 a.m. and noon in front of all our primary schools, Amboy Middle, and BGHS and PHS. Please note that children ages 0-18 need to be present to pick up meals.

Lunch delivery hotline
Families that are absolutely unable to get to schools to pick up meals in person can request meal delivery to your child’s bus stop by completing the online request form. If you are unable to complete the form online, you may call the Meal Delivery Request Line at (360) 885-6614. Please note that if you get a request in by Wednesday, your delivery will begin Friday.

Technology access form and hotline
The district is planning for how it will provide resources after spring break to students who need them. High school seniors will receive priority. We have created a Technology Access Form for you to fill out and a telephone hotline to call if students do not have reliable internet service at home and/or need a device for home use. Please ONLY fill out the form if your student DOES NOT have access to a Chromebook/other computer or DOES NOT have reliable internet access at home.

Check your email, school social media
Students and families, please remember to check your email for messages from your teachers. Also follow your school’s social media accounts. You can find buttons for your school’s social media accounts at the top of their websites.
