Nakia Creek and Sunset Falls fires

The growth of the Nakia Creek fire is impacting portions of Clark County, and we are closely monitoring the situation, as well as the Sunset Falls fire. The safety of students is a top priority. Please make the best decision to keep your family safe. Let your principal and/or our Family and Community Resource Center staff know if you need support or accommodations.

At this time we anticipate that schools will operate on schedule on Monday, Oct. 17. We will work to keep windows and doors closed as much as possible to reduce the effects of poor air quality and smoke. Recess, outdoor activities, sports practices and games also may be affected. We will update you as soon as possible if conditions worsen.
