PBIS Supports Social-Emotional Learning

PBIS parent flyer

Battle Ground Public Schools has implemented Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports methods at all schools in support of its focus on social-emotional learning. With PBIS, staff teach behavioral expectations to students just as they would any core subject, and reinforce those expectations with specific acknowledgement systems.

Battle Ground is implementing a district-wide Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program and installing software for data collection so that staff can make informed decisions.

The PBIS Guide is a PDF flyer that briefly describes the program for parents.

The Battle Ground Public Schools PBIS Handbook describes what PBIS is and how it is implemented to effectively improve behavior in schools.
