Prairie Drama Club presents ‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’

Prairie High School Drama presents “Legally Blonde: The Musical” beginning March 5. Elle Woods appears to have it all, but her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law School. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

This fun, award-winning musical was written by playwright Heather Hach and based on the adored 2001 movie, Legally Blonde, and features music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances, this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!

Performances will be at Prairie High School, 11311 NE 119th St., Vancouver. Tickets can be purchased online at www.prairiedramaclub.com or at Prairie High School and cost $6 for students, $10 for senior citizens, and $12 for adults. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the show, but are cheaper to purchase in advance. Parents who are considering bringing their children, please note that this performance is ‘PG-13’ and is not recommended for younger audiences.
