Select your preferred family language following these directions
Beginning in fall 2024, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction will require school districts to report a family’s preferred language for communication, in addition to the language that they speak at home. Whether your family’s language is English or a language other than English, please make a selection in Skyward Family Access following these steps.
- Log into Skyward Family Access.
- Go to the “Student info” tab on the left.
- Click on “Request changes for…” on the right and select “Family information” in the dropdown list.
- Click on the “Select languages” link.
- Select your preferred language(s) and save. If you have more than one child in the district, you’ll need to do this for only one of your children. The preferred language selection will apply to your entire household.

Acción requerida: idioma preferido de la familia
A partir de otoño del 2024, la Oficina del Superintendente de Instrucción Pública solicitará que los distritos escolares informen el idioma preferido de comunicación de la familia, además del idioma que hablan en casa. Ya sea que el idioma de su familia sea el inglés o un idioma distinto del inglés, haga una selección en Skyward Family Access siguiendo estos pasos.
- Inicie su sesión en Skyward Family/Student Access.
- Vaya a la pestaña de la izquierda “Student info”
