New business—the board voted unanimously to approve the retirement of policy 5221 regarding the Teacher Assistance Program. The regulation directing this program has been repealed, and other statutes/regulations have not incorporated provisions specific to it. Therefore, the Washington State School Directors Association is retiring this policy and procedure.
