The regular meeting began at 6 p.m. and included:

• Agenda approval

• Student voice from Maple Grove Primary, CAM Academy and Prairie High School

• Committee and board director reports

• Superintendent and staff updates

• Citizens’ comments

• Approval of the consent agenda

• No old business.

• New business:

  • The board tabled revised policy 3241 regarding student discipline.

  • The board approved revised policy 3210 regarding nondiscrimination. The revisions reflect House Bill 1296, passed in May 2025, which expanded protections for students under the state's anti-discrimination law.

  • The board approved revised policy 4260 regarding the use of school facilities. These revisions are in response to House Bill 1296, which requires policies and procedures adopted by school districts to prioritize state-mandated protections for student safety, nondiscrimination, basic educational access and privacy to the fullest extent possible, except as required by state or federal law.
