Regular meeting

The regular meeting began at 6 p.m. and included:

• Agenda approval

• Student voice

• Committee and director reports

• Citizens' comments

• Superintendent and staff updates

• Approval of the consent agenda

• No old business

• New business: The board voted unanimously on the following items:

  • Required legal documents for the city of Battle Ground final acceptance of the central operations building project (paid for with impact fees)

  • Required legal documents for Clark County community development final acceptance of the Battle Ground Virtual Academy project (paid for with impact fees)

• Election of board officers: Director Terry Tate stepped down from the board presidency for health reasons but intends to remain on the board and complete his term as the director for District 4. Director Marshall Marrott will serve as the board president through at least the Dec. 14 board meeting. Director Chris Grewell will remain the board's vice president.
