Healthy Youth Survey

2023 Healthy Youth Survey coming Soon

Our schools will participate in the 2023 Healthy Youth Survey between October 16 – 25. Washington students in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 take the survey every other year.

The Healthy Youth Survey asks questions about risks for unintentional and intentional injury, health outcomes, and alcohol and drug use. Battle Ground Public Schools is not participating in the survey section on sexual behaviors. Survey results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students’ answers are anonymous.

Information sheets are available:

The survey will be administered during one class period.

The Healthy Youth Survey is a collaborative effort of the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Department of Health, the Department of Social and Health Services, and the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.
