This Week’s News to Know

Dear families of Battle Ground Public Schools,

This week’s news includes reminders about available resources while our schools are closed. For more detailed information and for additional resources, please visit our School Closure Information page.

Spring break March 30-April 3
Spring break is next week, March 30-April 3. We want to remind you that meals will NOT be distributed during spring break, and that schools and the district office will be closed.

District office and schools closed to the public
The district office is closed to drop-in visits. If you need to reach staff in the district office, please call (360) 885-5300 to request an appointment. Our school buildings are also closed to the public, so please call your school office with any questions. 

Free meals available for pickup
Similar to our summer meal program, children ages 0-18 can pick up a free and nutritious sack lunch and breakfast items each weekday between 11 a.m. and noon in front of all our primary schools, Amboy Middle, and BGHS and PHS. Please note that students need to be present to pick up meals. Meals will NOT be served spring break, March 30-April 3.

Lunch delivery hotline
Families that are absolutely unable to get to schools to pick up meals in person can request meal delivery to your child’s bus stop by completing the online request form. If you are unable to complete the form online, you may call the Meal Delivery Request Line at (360) 885-6614. 

Technology access form and hotline
We have created a Technology Access Form for you to fill out and a telephone hotline to call if students do not have reliable internet service at home and/or need a device for home use. Please ONLY fill out the form if your student DOES NOT have access to a Chromebook/other computer or DOES NOT have reliable internet access at home.
